I was recently asked to create a rope brush similar to my chain brush and this is the result. Like the chain it’s pen-pressure sensitive, meaning you can adjust the size by how hard you press with a pen/tablet combination.
This is currently a work in progress, as I’m having trouble finding the best angle at which to create the segments to prevent, or at best reduce, the breaking when drawing sharp curves. Currently it is best used at a smaller size to prevent the problems from being too visible.
I’d really appreciate feedback for this via the comments below so I can gain input to help me get it right.
